Fine I will admit it. I was scared of Shawn Yao back in High School. Contrary to popular belief, I was not a bully in high school, it was Shawn Yao’s A-group who made people leave the cafeteria or green with envy during dismissal because of the TRL-like crowd outside Gate 2.
Last week, I was tasked to photograph her for the cover of Philippines Free Press since I can’t say no to people like Erwin and an opportunity to shoot another cover. It’s a good thing Shawn Yao still looks like the pretty athletic high school heart throb that she was like 13 YEARS AGO. Very easy to shoot (well duh she’s a model) and the fact I was scared of Erwin more than Shawn Yao. It was a quick shoot and I am looking forward to more. Thank you Free Press!
